I walk in yellow.
Every step steadies my soul inside relieved skin.
Every step calls my consciousness to be centered, right here.
Every step recommits me to a liberation path for all beings, and focuses me on the critical power of daily choices aligned with forward movement.
I walk into the spectacular yellow of a November sun that warms like late spring.
I walk into the applause of brilliant golden leaves.
And in the hidden presence of the waning moon, I walk affectionately alone to exquisitely live within my aliveness – to experience the embodied expression of unbridled emotions, to feel the full exhalation of released shoulders, to trace attentiveness over the edges of melting tension.
I think of the concealed moon, half-empty and still complete, and surrender into a breath I didn’t know I was holding.
I sink my awareness down into my feet swiftly moving to discharge built-up frantic energy.
Like honey dripping off a spoon, I let myself be pulled down into the weight of gravity, the weight of the past four years cracking and lifting, the honest exhaustion I’ve cleverly been disguising through going and doing.
The purposeful movement leads me into an inner stillness enlivened in shimmering yellow.
I walk forward with palms open, to invite the sunlight to river ease over hands that have been clenched, along lifelines that interlace with the course of humanity, to encourage, embolden, empower a continuation of journeying in brightened consciousness.
