These February days, this shimmering season of Valentines and glittery hearts and chocolate kisses, I’ve been musing on the flow of glowing wellbeing, indulgent organic goodies, and true beauty.
I’ve been reclaiming what beauty means and feels like to me … away from the filtered lens of industry and societal programming.
We are beautiful when we are connected to our inner essence.
This is radiance.
Something no product, procedure, purchase can ever achieve.
But I believe that is why so many people do reach for the external fix (me so included!) in hoping it will restore them to their innate radiance. Waking up from this societal spell, one thousands of years in the making, is quite a feat. But it’s a spell we are here to break, and we can do it, through sensuality.
Sensuality.
To be lit in the senses.
A beauty-fullness that blooms when we are presently in-our-bodies, awake to the textures, sights, flavors, aromas, sounds of life. Within and without.
But we’ve been purposefully distracted. Our gaze lured to dart outside of ourselves … to the social media feed where filters take away the truth of our humanity and warp our perception of reality.
I see through this spell when it comes to just the phrase, “Beauty Industry.” A deliberate snatch of the word “beauty” to deceive us from our truth.
Do you see the false light programming in this phrase? Beauty Industry. “Beauty” strategically secured in front of “industry,” like trying to block the sight of a factory with rows of intentionally planted trees. But we can sniff the air … our senses, our lungs telling us that all it not what it seems.
Beauty is not industry. Beauty cannot be manufactured. Beauty can’t be found in a jar of toxin-riddled promises.
True beauty is elusive, like the way sun bursts through clouds on a rainy day, but when we see it, when we feel it, when we experience that gorgeous aliveness soaked in light, we inherently recognize the visitation of its untamed spirit. We are bathed in its glory, and enlightened by witnessing it … within others, the world, and ourselves.
So that’s what this Body Writes, these Radiance Writes will be courting … the magnificence of our senses, romancing the goddess-essence, that divine spark from within.
When we are attuned to the Truth of who we are, naturally we are attracted and longing for beauty, for beauty is an expression of soul. Intangible, a flicker of illumination.
But … you can hear it in classical music, see it when placing fresh flowers in a vase, taste it when savoring a bite of organic chocolate, feel it when gently caressing the skin with a nourishing body oil, smell it in the air after a good, needed rain. Alluring aliveness.
So let this Radiance Writes be a Valentine’s treat … to gift yourself a date to snuggle in close with your inner beloved.
Here, uplifting music will attune us to a higher vibrational state. We stretch to rinse away the old and renew in movement that brings us into the flow of our heart.
Here, we write from the heart, we swoon in poetry, we flirt and shower affections on our creativity.
Here, we beauty-rest to rejuvenate in our sparkling divine truth.
I totally get that this LIVE session is happening during a workday, I just wanted to play with the magic of Friday, Venus’s Day – the perfect day to have a date with our inner Aphrodite. So! With that being said, if you’re all glittery heartbeats of YES and can’t make it live, then kindly email me and I’ll send you the replay. Think of it as a Valentine gift you get to enjoy all in your own sweet time.
